I almost forgot--we drove around Brisbane before going to the airport!
This was the best part of Brisbane: a gigantic fish-shaped shrubbery.
Frankly there wasn't a whole lot there that impressed me, beach-wise, but I did FINALLY see kangaroos in the wild!!! I had to jump out of a moving vehicle on the highway to get them, but I finally did it!
I've been spotted.

And there they go! Unfortunately I scared them away before the rest of the family got to see them. Sorry, guys!
